President’s message

Dear colleagues,

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Bihar & Jharkhand Plastic Surgeons Association. As BJPSA’s President, I am honoured to help lay the foundations of an association shaped by the people it serves and by a shared commitment to our specialty.

Our association is young, and the work of building it belongs to all of us. We have an opportunity to create a welcoming professional home for plastic surgeons across Bihar and Jharkhand—one where colleagues can meet, exchange ideas and take part in the growth of our regional community.

Education and collaboration will be essential to that journey. By encouraging thoughtful academic discussion, supporting learning at every stage of a career and making room for mentorship between generations, we can help one another grow while strengthening the future of plastic surgery in our region.

Above all, our work must remain grounded in responsible practice and the well-being of patients. Let us uphold high professional and ethical standards, share knowledge generously and approach the challenges of our evolving specialty with curiosity, care and mutual respect.

I invite each of you to contribute your experience, ideas and energy to BJPSA. The character of this association will be shaped by our participation and by the connections we build together. I look forward to beginning this important work with you.
